Yummy! Just like my mom used to make it! <br/>I cooked the sauce in the microwave in a glass 2-cup measuring cup. Quick and easy, but watch out if you do it this way because mine boiled over - what a mess. Next time I'll use a larger measuring cup. I also added a few tablespoons of shredded orange cheddar and it was great!

This is a very mildy flavoured but pleasant tasting sauce. I used butter, one cup of low fat milk and added about forty grams of vegetarian tasty cheese. It was smooth with a good consistency - not too thick, not too thin. We had it on microwaved mixed vegetables consisting of carrots, corn, peas, broccoli and cauliflower.
