  • 2 tablespoons blueberry fruit spread
  • 2 slices 100% whole wheat bread
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts (WALNUT BUTTER, see Walnut Butter)

  • Spread half of the fruit spread on each slice of bread. Spread the walnut butter on one slice. Close the sandwich, but diagonally into thirds or into four triangles, and serve.

  2. Fresh, locally made whole grain bread, organic huckleberry jam from Idaho and Recipe #461567: YUM! Would be very interesting to play around with other ingredients: lettuce (arugula comes to mind), sliced of red onion, cheese...? Made for Veg Tag/July.
