Wanda's World Famous Pecan Pie

"This recipe is often requested by friends and family members. My mom gave them as gifts to all the neighbors. After they moved away, the new owners of my childhood home called to find out the recipe. It seems the neighbors told her that she must carry on the tradition of the pies!"

I made this pie again this year for Thanksgiving and no one could get enough of it! It was the talk of the table! My sister kept talking about how good it was, my mom said it had just enough sweetness to it and my dad said I could no longer step foot in his house without bringing him a pie. I think they liked it. This recipe is so simple, yet very delicious. Ive already been volunteered to bring the pies for Christmas. Oh well, got to give the people what they want!!!

This is the recipe I used last year and will be doing it again this year because it was such a hit! It was the first time my husband tried pecan pie and he fell in love with it. He ate two pies himself! He has tried many others since then, but he says nothing compares with the recipe. I agree. Thanks QUEEN OF EVERYTHING!!!!

This pie is awesome! We made some for gifts and kept some for turkey day tomorrow. Thanks for a wonderful recipe! Easy, and delicious!

I've been hanging around Zaar for a while, now and have found some really awesome recipes, but more importantly, some really awesome people. I'd like to thank all of you who have taken the time to try my recipes. Your reviews are a bright spot in my day. I believe that life is a collection of lessons that we must do our best to learn. One that I'm working on now is not judging those who judge others. I've come across this quote and thought I'd put it here: "The world is long on judgment and short on understanding. Judging is easy and self-satisfying. Understanding requires perspective, experience, and empathy."-Unknown
