ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka
- 4 ounces tonic water
- 1 -2 lime wedge
directions
- Fill a highball glass with ice.
- Pour vodka in glass (I like Skyy or Grey Goose). Top with tonic water (I use diet tonic water at home).
- Squeeze lime wedge(s) over the drink, drop wedge(s) into drink, and lightly stir.
- Enjoy!

I just made this--my very first vodka tonic. I like it. Refreshing and not sweet or syrupy like some other cocktails. I did not have a lime wedge so I added about four squirts of lime juice to give it a citrus-y tang. I also used Absolut vodka, and lemon-lime tonic water. Thanks for posting this classic drink.
