  • Add all ingredients to the pan according to the order in the manufacturer's directions.
  • Set crust on medium and program for the Basic or French Bread cycle; press start.
  • When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack.
  • Let cool to room temperature before slicing.

  1. will it be o.k.to sub the white of an extra large egg in place of the 1 TBS of gluten using the rapid rise yeast? also would using the whole egg present a problem?
