- 1 1⁄2 lbs beef stew meat
- 2 small bell peppers
- 1 (10 ounce) package green beans
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 cup uncooked barley
- 1 can corn
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 pepper
- 2 cans ready-to-serve beef broth
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with garlic, undrained
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
directions
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 9 hours (on high heat setting for 4 to 5 hours) or until vegetables and barley are tender.
