DIRECTIONS

  • 1. Heat oil in a wok.
  • 2. Deep fry the chopped chicken in the hot oil and drain on clean kitchen paper towels. Allow to cool.
  • 3. Heat 1-2 tablespoons oil in a wok.
  • 4. Add 1 tablespoons of chopped ginger and stir-fry for a few minutes or until the raw smell of ginger is gone.
  • 5. Add half a cup of plain water and mix well.
  • 6. Fold in the fried chicken and bring to a boil.
  • 7. Add a tablespoons of cornflour which is mixed with some water in a bowl.
  • 8. Add a pinch of orange food colour.
  • 9. Add sugar, tomato ketchup and salt. Mix well.
  • 10. Garnish with chopped spring onion and coriander leaves.
  • 11. Serve hot and enjoy!
