Turtles ( Candy)

"This is a simple recipe for making turtles."

 

• Ready In: 20mins
• Ingredients: 3
• Serves: 30

ingredients

• 60 whole pecans
• 30 caramels
• 30 Hershey chocolate kisses

directions

1. Place 2 pecans together length wise on a baking sheet.
2. Place caramel on pecans.
3. Bake at 200* for 5 minutes, or until caramel has been partially melted.
4. Place chocolate kiss over melted caramel and let chocolate melt a little.

These were great and so easy. I also had to heat the caramels for a longer time - could have been because my caramels were several years old, and also spread the melted kiss. Thanks for a great recipe DoryJean. I will definitely be making these again.

Excellent!! I had a craving for turtles and it doesn't get any easier than this! I did have to up the heat a bit to get the caramels to melt. I smeared the melted kiss a bit after they had melted to get more coverage. Thanks so much for posting!!
