Turkey Chili

Turkey Chili created by mydesigirl

I used lean ground turkey for this recipe that requires alot of beans. It's healthy and very high in fibre.

directions

  • Drain all cans of beans, including for the water chestnuts.
  • Set crock pot to medium and add all the ingredients. Cook for 6 hours.
  • Serve hot (this also chills well and makes for a nice chili sauce over your favourite kind of pasta).

This was OK but if I were to ever make it again I would leave out the water chestnuts. They were kind of weird in there. I added about 2 1/2-3 cups of tomato juice because there was no liquid in this. I served it with fresh onions on top. Thanks for posting.
