I was sorta dissapointed in the recipe. The oil and butter didn't blend. I ended up with a VERY soft, sticky, and dull colored dough. And I froze it for 30 minutes and chilled it 30 minutes the end product was extremely delicate and hard to decorate but the taste was not how a REAL sugar cookie is supposed to be.

I can't believe it!! I've had this recipe since I was 10 - that's 35 years ago!! It was given to me by my teacher in Illinois. It's exactly the same.. this truly is the worlds best sugar cookie.. the only way to make them any better is to use the best ingredients.... either way these cookies are awesome!! Light and tasty - moist - the taste of Christmas!
