The Seductive Swan

To celebrate the 2011 Golden Globes, how about a delicious cocktail aply named after one of the biggest films this year, Black Swan. If this movie’s dark, two-sided depth is for you, how about mixing up a cocktail to match? Made with Russian Standard Vodka and muddled blackberries, the delicious Russian Swan’s two-toned look is eerily reminiscent of Nina Sayer’s contrasting sides. With Russian Standard Vodka in hand, you’ll be sure to have an award-winning performance, as it’s the number one premium vodka in Russia and a true fan favorite in the states.

This was one tasty and refreshing cocktail. My blackberries kept dropping to the bottom of my glass, so I had to stir often to keep them floating, so I could get a little berry burst with each drink. I guess I'll have to do a better job at muddling when I next enjoy this drink, because it's wonderful. Thank you for sharing your recipe, dkatzdgc. I chose this as one of my recipe choices for Spring 2011 Pick-A-Chef, and I'm glad I did.Reply
