The Official Recipezaar Withdrawal Patch

"Explanation of recipe title and directions: Once upon a time, this site was called Recipezaar. It was a mystical, magical place, with addictive forums. The idea for this recipe was born in those forums. Melly Mel asked if there was a withdrawal patch for Recipezaar when she was going to be away for a while. I rushed in to provide this home remedy - but remember, this is not for long term use. You must return to Recipezaar as soon as your circumstances permit!"

  2. As a long long ago Zaar user - I still have to enter Recipe Zaar when searching for recipes! Too many name changes over the years, but my favorite recipes are still found here. Welcome @food.com, but don’t forget your roots??

  3. Worth five stars with the following adjustments: Use one jar of Nutella instead of chocolate, make sure you use unsalted butter, use shallots instead of onion, up the garlic to 3 bulbs, add the bitters to the evoo and finally do not apply the patch to the upper arm; it works much better when applied to the left cheek and I don't mean the one you apply blush to.

  4. I have tried this, It is a good idea, BUT, IT DOESN"T WORK.

  5. Taking a trip down Memory Lane and really wishing I still had access to my Zaar account! Thanks for the smile. XO TooAllergic

While many of the recipes I shared here are not even close to low sodium, I myself definitely fit into that category nowadays. Most of these I just don't make anymore and the few I do are only with big changes/substitutions. [Heart attacks? 0/10 would not recommend]
