The Best Whiskey Sour

"From Martha Stewart. So easy...no simple syrup to mess with. I've made it with 1/2 package of Truvia sweetener and it is fabulous."

• 1 small lemon wedge
• turbinado sugar, for rimming glass
• 1⁄4 cup Bourbon
• 1⁄4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
• 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
• 1 cup ice cube

directions

1. Rub lemon wedge around rim of a 12 oz. rocks glass. Place turbinado sugar in a shallow dish. Dip the rim of the glass in the sugar to coat; set aside.
2. In a large cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, orange juice, lemon juice, granulated sugar and ice. Cover, and shake vigorously until all ingredients are well combined and cold.
3. Pour into prepared glass and garnish with orange slice.
