Texas-Style Game Hens

"These are cooked on the grill. This is fun because it allows everyone to have both dark and white meat. :)"

We enjoyed these Cornish hens for our 4th of July meal. The hens turned out perfectly. We grilled them to brown the outside and then moved them to low heat so they wouldn't burn. We added the bbq sauce after they were thoroughly cooked and just turned them once or twice before removing them. Will definitely make these delicious Cornish hens again.

Yum! This was a real hit at my house. It was simple and we loved the baste/sauce with it. This will be a repeat here! Thanks for sharing this nice keeper, breezer. Congrats on your football win!

This is a nice way to prepare Cornish hens. I followed the recipe as directed and ended up with nice juicy meat. The sauce complemented the hens nicely.

This is great -- we only had three cornish hens but used all the rest of the ingredients for very good cornish hens -- timing was right on target too! Thanks for sharing!
