"I got this from a sister-in-law. No idea where she got it, but it sure is good. Spray the baking dish with baking spray to make clean up easier."

  1. This is good. I will make again as my whole family liked it. Thank you for posting.

  2. I have made this many times over the years, but didn't realize it was on RecipeZaar! Made it again last night and it was a big hit. I used cream of celery soup and cream of potato soup, since that's what I had in the pantry and we had some vegetarians as guests. It is a great side dish to take to a potluck meal!

  3. Super good and super creamy. I used two cans of cream of celery soup to make this dish truly meatless. I mixed the soup, sour cream and a little bit of cheese together in a seperate bowl (along with some fresh pepper and onion powder) before I poured it over the tater tots to mix it all together. I followed the rest of the directions and it made a wonderful dinner along with a salad. Thank you.

  4. I halved the recipe for the 3 of us and used about 3/4 can cream of celery soup. I think it would have been fine with the whole can of soup but I read the other review and didn't want the soup to overwhelm the recipe. I mixed it all together except for the cheese and cornflakes before putting in casserole dish. I used 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese. Thanks for posting a nice recipe for using tator tots.

  5. I think it would have been easier and less messy to mix the tater tots in with the soup/sour cream mixture before putting in the baking dish. With two cans of soup, the flavor of the soup really overwhelmed the recipe. I'm going to keep looking for a recipe that suits our tastes better. Sorry.

I have lived in the country but presently am living in town. I am happy either way. For work, I took care of my children at the beginning of their lives and my parents at the back end of theirs. Now stay active with the grand-children. My pet peeve, trust me, we do not want to go there!
