Sweet Salad Dressing

"This is a quick & easy dressing that I did my best to search for but couldn't find already posted. The original recipe came from a potluck and was on a salad of lettuce, bell pepper, mandarin oranges and sliced almonds. I really like it with a simple salad of lettuce and feta cheese. I had to guess at servings - it makes quite a bit and a little goes a long way. If you don't like sweet dressings, you might want to make another recipe LOL"

  1. Ok so I am copping everyone else in that I cut the recipe in half as it was just the two of us. This dressing is quick, easy and a nice dressing for a quick side salad. Thanks for the post.

  2. I pretty much followed Hokies' lead & made just half a recipe since there were only 2 of us, but considering how tasty this really is, I have plans to make it in another 10 days when we'll have dinner guests who will, I know, love it as much as we do! Obviously a keeper of a recipe! Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed in Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup tag]

  3. Flower - this is a nice sweet dressing and so simple to make. I made as directed but just reduced the servings in half so I did not have so much leftover. I have the remaining dressing saved in a sealed container to use later this week. I served it over romaine lettuce with green onions and mandarin oranges and slivered almonds. Made for your win in Tag Tic Tac Toe.

I have a degree in archaeology from a small Ohio college and I work for the Ohio History Connection. My passions are art, music, books, food, history, and cats/animal welfare. I also love photography. I have a 1,000 (plus) piece collection of vintage flower pins from the 1960's, hence the username ha. I also have small collections of vintage butterfly pins, vintage tablecloths, and vintage glass Christmas ornaments. (Can you tell I love vintage?) I took a trip to the Netherlands in March 2006 and fell in love! I doubt it will happen but if I ever have the opportunity I would love to live there.
