Sweet Diane's Barbecue Sauce

"This recipe came from a barbecue meatball recipe I have used for years. It makes a good barbecue sauce for anything. I keep a squeeze bottle in the refrigerator for dipping."

• Serves: 15-20

ingredients

• 2 cups ketchup
• 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
• 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder

directions

1. Combine ketchup, brown sugar, liquid smoke and garlic powder in a bowl.
2. Let sit for a few minutes, stirring occasionally so the sugar dissolves.
3. Use right away or store covered in the refrigerator.
