  1. DELICIOUS.... need I say more? For those saying it had to much oil. Give it a shake before pouring over the salad. No tweaks just cut the recipe in half since I wasn't sure of the actual shelf life.

  2. I followed this recipe with 2 small changes: I used *white* balsamic vinegar (Colavita brand) and left out the salt. The white balsamic is amazing - I found regular balsamic to taste too bitter and the salt simply isn't needed. Also this makes a truly amazing marinade for chicken on the grill and then sliced and served over a salad with this dressing!!

  3. So simple to make and VERY TASTY !!! Yes it's sweet but that's part of its charm. Besides, better to get your sugar from a salad than a cupcake, ha !!!

  4. This gets one of my rare 5 star votes. Absolutely excellent! Just what I was looking for. Did substitute Splenda for the sugar and did use a very good brand of balsamic vinegar. Delightful!

  5. I think 1/2 cup olive oil was too much. I ended up pouring out probably half of the oil. I also was looking for a really sweet balsamic and 2 tbsp wasn't enough. I did 3. Other than that it was perfect after hearing it up to melt the sugar.
