Sweet and Sour Sauce - Philippine Style

Sweet and Sour Sauce - Philippine Style created by George Clement

Simple and easy to make. It’s a recipe used by my Filipino wife’s family for many years. You don’t have to go out and buy anything special for this sauce, you’ll have the ingredients on hand. We use it mostly for a lumpia dip but it’s also a great dip for chicken nuggets, pork, meatballs, etc.

The whole family loved your Simple and Easy Lumpia recipe and this wonderful Sweet and Sour Sauce (dipping sauce)! Thank you for sharing both, as it has been added to our regular line-up! They are both better than great!

Loved it. I added more crushed red pepper flakes to suit our taste. Will make this again for sure. Thanks.
