Sweet and Savory Honey-Mustard Breaded Chicken

"Another recipe I made up tonight after class when I discovered I probably should go to the store again at some point...LOL Anyway, it is quite easy and tastes great and I think it is something that would appeal to kids (my roommate is VERY picky and enjoyed this)"

• Ingredients: 6
• Serves: 2

ingredients

• 2 chicken breasts
• 1⁄2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
• 1 dash garlic powder
• 1 dash black pepper
• 1⁄8 cup Dijon mustard
• 1⁄8 cup honey

directions

1. preheat oven to 375.
2. mix together dijon mustard and honey in a bowl.
3. dip chicken breasts in mixture, then dredge in breadcrumbs.
4. top chicken with a little garlic powder and pepper
5. place in a casserole dish.
6. bake for 25-30 mins.
7. enjoy! (I like this dish with a side of broccoli).

EXACTLY what I was looking for!!!! I was not sure how this would turn out but it was wonderful! My family loved it. I doubled it for a family of 4. I also added minced garlic to the mustard and honey mixture and omitted the garlic salt. I also only had Italian breadcrumbs on hand but they worked out fabulously!!!

Thanks for A GREAT & TASTY 'for-2' RECIPE, & one that is easy to prepare! I'm a big fan of honey Dijon mustard so actually used that here along with all other ingredients listed!
