"With so many different ways to make this recipe I decided to make my own. I serve these with lingonberry jam."

  • preheat oven to 375.
  • Add milk to bread cubes in a bowl for 5 minutes. With pan on medium heat add butter and onion stir in seasonings. cook till translucent set aside.
  • in bowl with ground meats add onion mixture, and eggs.
  • wringe bread of the milk(messy and cold) add bread to meats and mix with hands till combined.
  • make balls and place on greased baking sheets into oven for 15-20 min or till temp reaches 140.
  • sauce:

  • in a 2 quart pan over med heat scrape drippings into pan and add flour.
  • mix and cook for about 3 minute.
  • add broth and canned milk season with salt and pepper.
  • bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. It thickens while it cools down.
  • serve with noodles or potatoes and definately with lingonberry jam.
