  1. I love this recipe! In my opinion it is way better than the plain old burger sloppy joes...the only thing I do different is use my favorite BBQ sauce instead of ketchup! Thanks for posting!

  2. Very good for a fast easy dinner.

  3. This was a delicious sandwich recipe--not traditional. I would recommend it as a meal stretcher and for a crowd of teenagers. If you do not like too much like tomato sauce, this is a good sloppy joe recipe. My family also found it was better a day or two after first being made.

  4. This recipe took my back to the hot lunch line at the Elk Creek Elem. School. I loved hot lunch Sloppy Joes, and this recipe hits the mark. Our next door neighbor used to be school cook. When I told her about this recipe, she indicated that it is exactly how they cooked 'em up. Thanks for posting this culinary treat!!

I am a SAHM of 3 - I really love to cook, but find it challenging between 4-6 in the evening, so I am constantly on the lookout for quick and yummy dishes. My favorite cookbooks are from my local junior league, they are Colorado Cache and Creme de Colorado. I also love the Fanny Farmer cookbook for basic stuff.
