  1. The salsa made the tortilla chips quite soggy. We were not impressed. Better to add salsa after baking.

  2. I have made these to snack on in front of the television often. I add tiny diced onion and black olives along with some pepperoncini slices too, for a little adventure down Mexican Lane! Great stuff! I usually use Mexican Cheese blend cheese for these!

  3. I have made this quick snack on a plate in the microwave, but using my countertop toaster oven, this method is just as easy. I did up the salsa to a half-cup, used a chedder-mont jack blend, and topped the final product with a dollop of sour cream and a drizzle of hot sauce. Yummy quick lunch! Thanks :)

  4. I make this all the time, but usually put the cheese on first. A good after school snack, which my 14 yr. old daughter makes often. Thanks!

I love to cook and so I am thrilled that I found recipezaar. I work as an educational assistant in a food school so I am around food all day long. I have four children, three of which have already flown the coop so to speak but I still have my 'baby' at home. (He's 21). I am lucky in that I have my summers off so I spend a lot of time trying new recipes and catching up on my reading. I also play soccer in a ladies league to stay in shape.
