DIRECTIONS

  • Mix flours and salt together.
  • Proof yeast with honey in 1/4 cup warm water.
  • Add the yeast and the rest of the water to flour.
  • Knead for 10 minutes.
  • Knead in the seeds.
  • Let rise until doubled; cover with damp cloth; put in greased bowl; punch down; shape into 12 buns.
  • Brush tops with water.
  • Place on a greased cookie sheet .
  • Slice tops, cover, and let rise.
  • Brush tops with milk.
  • Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or golden brown; the higher the temperature, the crispier the crust.
