- Beat egg whites until stiff, and set aside.
- Beat egg yolks for one minute; add milk and vanilla, and beat for one minute longer.
- Add sifted dry ingredients, and beat only until mixed. Pour in cooled, melted butter until throughly blended.
- Fold in egg whites.
- Pour 14 oz. of batter in center of grids.
- Cook until golden brown.

there's honestly something wrong with this recipe. every time i finish first 3 steps, i have dough. not batter, dough. like play-doh consistency. i always need to add like 1/2 to 2/3 cup water to the batter to make it INTO batter. once you do add a bunch of water, the waffles taste fine, but because the recipe seems so off, can not currently recommend.
