  1. This is an amazing and easy way to use fresh-picked berries! The only change I make is to add 1 tsp vanilla to the cake batter. Great with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!

  2. IT looks and smells good we just had ONE issue with it... the pan.. you said to use an 8-in square pan started making it and it was getting closed to the top so we put it in an 6x11 inch pan, and well... its cooking its just doubled in height... so next time we might use an even bigger pan, we're not sure if its because of the fresh blueberries.. or if its the high altitude but that pan was WAYYY to small..

  3. This was out of this world! I used fresh blueberries and followed the recipe exactly. My family loved this. My husband said this was the best cake he had ever eaten. The sweetness was just right!

  4. I just had my first piece nice and warm from the oven with whipped cream. Very easy to put together and it tastes wonderful!!! I baked it a 8 inch springform pan and it took one hour. I will be making this again. I did halve the topping mixture and it was just right.

  5. We found our thrill... on Blueberry Hill!! I wanted to try something new with fresh blueberries, & this was perfect for our July 4th weekend!! I made exactly as posted, those who found the topping too sweet simply scraped it off, for those of us who love the sugary thing. This not only tastes great, it makes the house smell wonderful as it bakes. Wish I could give this one 10++ stars. Thank you from one very happy family!

Books and cooking are my passions...I love cookbooks by default. I will begin working on a Masters in English this coming fall...hopefully I'll still have time to cook! Someday I'd like to be able to publish my own cookbook from my family's recipes, but for now I'm just going to concentrate on getting my degree and becoming a better cook. I have an amazing boyfriend who, at 30, is just learning how to like vegetables and two rad, stripey cats.
