Sublime Grilled Cheese Sandwich

"Grilled cheese is to the cook as the stick figure is to the artist, right? Not so fast! By mixing grated parmesan into the butter you spread on the outside, that stick figure becomes as gorgeous as a Michelangelo nude."

• Yields: 1 sandwich
• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 2 slices bread
• 1 slice cheese
• 1 teaspoon butter
• 2 teaspoons grated parmesan cheese

directions

1. 1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high flame.
2. 2. Butter the bread.
3. 3. Sprinkle parmesan on the buttered bread; press with knife so the cheese sticks.
4. 4. Build a cheese sandwich, buttered sides out.
5. 5. Cook till golden.
6. 6. Die and go to heaven.
7. 7. Reincarnate yourself and make this sandwich for everyone you love.

I made this on 4/29/10 for the Soup/Salad/Sandwich Event. Instead of doing the butter and cheese individually, they were mixed together and then spread onto the bread. This was just o.k, but thanks for taking the time to post this recipe. " Keep Smiling :) "

DH LOVED LOVED LOVED this. Used a slice of colby jack and a slice of Muenster cheese inside.
