ingredients
- 5 1⁄2 cups water
- 2 cups strawberry preserves
- 1⁄4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
directions
- combine water and preserves, bring to a boil, cook 2 minutes until preserves are melted.
- remove from heat, stir in basil and lemon juice.
- pour into a freezer can or an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
- spoon into a container and freeze 1 hour until firm.
