Strawberry Applesauce Salad

"A tart and refreshing salad that compliments most meals. Very easy! Prep and cook time does not include chill time."

• Ingredients: 4
• Serves: 12

ingredients

• 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
• 1 cup boiling water
• 1 (10 ounce) package thawed strawberries
• 1 cup applesauce

directions

1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
2. Add frozen strawberries (may slice strawberries, if large-sized).
3. Stir until berries are thawed.
4. Add applesauce and mix well.
5. Pour into serving bowl and chill.

I didn't find this tart at all- rather too sweet. But I didn't have strawberries to add, either.

This was the hit for Easter dinner with a crown roast of pork. So easy and so refreshing, it is a definite keeper and will be made many times for years to come! DH loved it, so you know what that means!
