Strawberry Angel Delight

- 1 1⁄2 quarts fresh strawberries (frozen can be used)
- 1 angel food cake
- 1 (6 ounce) box strawberry gelatin
- 1 (16 ounce) container Cool Whip or (16 ounce) container your favorite whipped topping
directions
- Tear angel food cake into bite-sized pieces and place in bottom of large oblong cake pan.
- Dissolve gelatin as per directions on box.
- Wash strawberries--remove stems.
- Slice berries and fold into gelatin.
- Pour berries and gelatin over cake pieces and refrigerate 2-3 hours until gelatin has set.
- Place dollops of whipped topping over desert or spread evenly over entire mixture.
- Top with fresh mint for decoration.

I live in Proctorville, OH, near Huntington, WV, with my husband, Terry, of 30 this past August! We have 3 grown children, 6 grandchildren. My passions are God, my family, music (I am pianist at my church, I play guitar and sing) reading and resting. If I had a month off from work to do nothing, I'd just lay around and read, play music and try new recipes! I also have a beautiful 4 yr old granddaughter who lives with us and she is the light of our lives!
