  1. I love the Starbucks version, but I haven't had it in a long time so I can't really compare. I believe 'Bucks uses a rooibos blend of vanilla, peaches, apples and blackberries; I used a Belgian chocolate rooibos from teaforallreasons.com, and since I use a stainless steel infuser, I heated both the milk and the water before steeping the tea for 3 minutes and then adding the rest of the ingredients. Great recipe, but I think I prefer honey over the vanilla syrup and sweetener, or would even like to try a chocolate or caramel syrup or liquer instead -- at least for a stronger tea blend like the Belgian chocolate I used. For a lighter one like vanilla or their creme au caramel, I think this would be perfect. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Thanks! great recipe! I actually haven't tried the starbucks version, but had my favorite rooibos vanilla tea on hand. and love latte. (if you have one of those little aerolatte tools it makes it nice and foamy too.) Love this recipe!!

  3. Delicious how I changed it at least. Like another reviewer I also did this quite differently. I can't compare what I made to the one at Starbucks as I never drank it. I made a much healthier version. First I did it all on the stove. I used plain Natura rice milk for the nonfat milk to be dairy free and did not boil it or it would have separated. The rooibos tea I used was flavoured with macadamia nut. I used some alcohol-free vanilla and honey to sweeten to help get rid of my cold. I also left out the cinnamon. Made for Comfort Cafe - Snow Queens Round 01/10.
