Starbucks Bottled Frappuccino

"While making my husband's morning Nescafe, I decided I wanted a cold coffee drink and started mixing things together. The result tasted much like one of those bottles of Starbucks they sell at gas stations and Wal-Mart."

  1. I just made this, but mixed it in my 350 watt blender. I'm sorry Camel_Cracker, but I didn't care for how it tasted, that's why I am only giving this recipe 1 star. After throwing it out I thought to myself... "How can I make this taste even better!" So I made another, and using the following amount of ingredients... 1 cup 2% milk, 1-1/2 teaspoons of Maxwell House Instant Coffee, (I found the 1 Tablespoon was just too much) 2 Tablespoons of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup, 1 Tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 10 small shaped ice cubes. Blended it all in my blender for 75 seconds, to make it frothy. The end results... Mmm, yum-o!! With the modifications I made to this recipe, I would give this recipe 5 stars. Even though I asn't able to give the recipe more than 1 star, I am glad to see others enjoyed the frappuccino, and I do want to thank you Camel_Cracker for sharing this recipe.

  2. I made this as a decaf, lower sugar version and liked it. I would 'love it' if I had used a bit less coffee. It was just a bit strong for me. The biggest change I made was using a low sugar/low carb chocolate milk stick instead of the Nestle Quik. It made it a great option. I will be making this again (and again, and again). Thanks for sharing!

  3. I thought this was very good, I love latte/frappacinno e.t.c. beverages. I didnt have non fat milk. and I do think that makes for a lighter beverage. I didnt think it was a close, but very close, and I enjoyed it non the less. Thanks for the recipe.

  4. I thought this was tasty but definitely NOT like the Starbucks bottled Frappuccinos. I love the Frappuccinos, they are my crack addiction! LOL. However this recipe is tasty I made it once with Chocolate and once with Caramel.

  5. So simple, easy and delicious! Actually tastes better than the drive-thru version. This will be a new favorite drink recipe. Thank you for sharing. Made and enjoyed for Spring PAC 2009
