Spiced Apple Relish

"A sweet condiment. Can be eaten with pork or on toast."

• Ingredients: 6
• Yields: 4 cups
• Serves: 10

ingredients

• 4 cups red apples
• 7 cups sugar
• 1⁄2 cup white vinegar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon allspice
• 1⁄2 teaspoon clove
• 85 ml Certo

directions

1. Cut apples into quarters.
2. Core apples, do not peel.
3. Finely chop apples in food processor.
4. Add 4 cups apple to sauce pan.
5. Add all ingredients, except for certo.
6. Start heat at medium, turn up gradually to bring to a rolling boil.
7. Boil hard 1 minute, while stirring.
8. Remove immediately from heat, add Certo and still 5 minutes.
9. Bottle.
