I put all the ingredients in my small food processer and gave it a couple pulses then refrigerated. DH made hamburgers on the grill that he topped with cheddar cheese for supper and toasted the buns We topped our burgers with sauce and enjoyed it a lot. Very nice change from the regular ketchup and mustard toppings. Made and reviewed for ZWT8 - 2010 The Fearless Red Dragons.Reply

Made for ZWT-8 in the final dys of the Spain/Port part of the Tour, I thot I was done cooking & just had an uncontrollable urge for a burger that wouldn't be denied. Then I saw this recipe in the "Welcome to Spain/Port" thread & it looked like fate to me. I made a half recipe for 2 of us & opted to use the chili sauce. There's only 4 ingredients here, but a whole lot of flavour packed into their combination. Simplicity works best w/this sauce. It's got the tomato, onion & olive flavours working w/my much-loved garlic to give them all a boost - so a juicy burger w/a hunk of cheese on it is about all you need to be in burger heaven. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us & making my end of the Spain/Port visit so memorable. :-)Reply
