  1. I actually tried this recipe for the first time about three years ago. It has been my go-to southern-style pigs feet recipe since then! I love it! So do my friends!

  2. Finally a Southern style version of pigs feet on the Zaar!! Hope that inspires many more to toss in their southern take on pig's feet recipes.

  3. I am cooking this right now as I'm typing this comment. I love boiled pig's feet but I always just boil them and then poured vinegar on them. So I decided to try this recipe. I do know that right now my kitchen is smelling wonderful. I did not have any access yet but I put some Fiesta brand Smokey swine seasoning in the pot. And I put extra garlic just because I love garlic. I can't wait to try it I will let you know how it turns out. Also did cut up a jalapeno and put in there too.

  4. My goodness, this is exactly like the pigs feet my TN mother-in-law used to make. She used to chop up the meat, add it to gravy made from the broth and pour that over the cornbread. I prefer mine in a chunk, so tasty. Thank you.

  5. Not worth trying again. Too much work, not enough meat. Maybe the feet I cooked were from ethiopian pigs.

  1. Didn’t have bell pepper but I added garlic, more cayenne, season all in the place of accent, and jalapeño. Yum??
