My whole family loved it!!!!!! I had sour cream that was a few days past the date and unopened plus a new container in the fridge and didn't want to waste it so I searched for a recipe and found this! So glad we did! I put it in as a 2lbs loaf and light crust on basic cycle! We devoured it at dinner. Thank you we will make again!
I like this bread! But, there are a couple of things you need to know that the recipe doesn't mention. First, this makes a 2.5 lb loaf. If you have a smaller machine, make 1/2 recipe. Use white bread, medium dark setting. Second, sour creams vary widely in water content. With the thick sour cream I had, I needed to add a full half cup more water. Watch as the dough forms on the first knead and adjust water until dough is the right consistency. From there just let the cycle run.
