What a refreshing beverage! I absolutely love the pepper, ginger & cardamom combination. This was a totally new flavor for me & I'm really glad I tried it. I'll definitely make it again when the weather warms. I cut the recipe in half (as I knew the rest of my family wouldn't drink it) and used superfine/baker's sugar in place of the jaggery, which I'd like to try sometime. The real sugar made the drink a little too sweet, so next time I'll just cut it back a bit. A nice, spicy lemonade. Delish! Thanks for sharing, Nabiha. DD (toddler) liked this. I did not like the flavor and would have given it 3 1/4 stars. I used dark brown (demera) sugar. That is supposedly closer than white sugar to jaggery which I didn't have available. I used freshly squeezed lemon juice. I won't make this again.
