- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1⁄4 cup sweet onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, to taste
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
directions
- Dump everything in a food processor and whiz until smooth.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving with raw veggies, crackers, pita chips, and other favorite dippers.
