  1. Good place to start. We found it dry and fairly tasteless. 2nd time I made it I sauteed onions with the sausage, needed something more. Added some roasted red peppers. Did the layer of cheese under the cornbread. Next time I will add a can of stewed tomatoes. I think that will help flavor it up nicely and make the cornbread a little more moist. Thanks for sharing.

  2. This is a wonderful and quick recipe! I have made it several times now and use mexican cornbread and add shredded cheese between the corn and cornbread.

  3. I added a half can of black beans with the corn and topped w/ some shredded cheddar. It was a hit with my family. I think mexi-corn would be good with it. We'll definately try it again.

  4. This was good. I added a red pepper to give it a little color. It was a nice change from the traditional dinner plus it was easy to make.

  5. I've always loved this. I add grated cheddar cheese on top of the sausage before I pour the cornbread mix over the mix. Its yummy!
