I am a big fan of guacamole, and avocado slices in sandwiches. However, I have never had it cooked. Does cooking change the character of the avocado-taste, texture- very much?

I live in Japan and quail eggs work well without over filling.

For that extra dollop of decadence, top with 1-2 t. salmon roe ("poor man's caviar") and serve creme fraiche or sour cream on the side. NOBODY will want just one, so you'd better double the recipe! 5 stars with tweak, 4 stars without.
