Can I give this 10 stars? I'm normally not a huge fan of Italian food. But this is the best Italian food I've ever had in my life! The only change I made was to get 1 lb of Italian sausage and roll it into little meatballs and add it in the beginning. Oh and I just tossed the dry pasta in to the crockpot about 30 min before dinner.

This was seriously good soup! I had a link of hot Italian sausage in the freezer that I took out of the casing, broke up and sautéed, then added it to the soup when it was almost done. Will be making this again - even when the heat index is not in triple digits and crockpot isn't necessary! Made for SWT2019

I made this in a large pot on top of the stove, I used chicken broth in place of water and did a few amount adjustments, we like spicy so I added in a heaping tablespoonful of crushed chili flakes, we really enjoyed this soup and I will make it again soon, this was made for kittencalskitchen forum tag game, thanks Dorit!
