To add some pizzazz to this, I sprinkle Cajun seasoning on the chicken. Then about a 1/2 hour before serving, add a bag of shredded colby jack cheese to the top and let it melt. I have made this in the crock pot, but also in the oven. If you use the oven, bake at 350 for an hour, then add the bag of cheese. Let the cheese melt and brown a little before serving. Another tip, add a bag of fresh broccoli/cauliflower/carrots, minced garlic to taste and onion flakes (I seldom have fresh onions, so use flakes) cook all together, pour over noodles, rice or potatoes and you have a yummy supper!

Great weekday meal! We love this on busy work nights when my son has baseball or soccer practice. I make egg noodles the night before with butter and when we get home just warm the noodles and serve this delish chicken and creamy cheese sauce over top with a quick frozen veg on the side. I sometimes use brocolli cheese soup instead of cheedar and serve with broccoli on the side. Enough leftovers for me and my hubby to each have a lunch during the week. Thanks for the great recipe!
