Simplified Banana Oat Pancakes

"Modified from a TOH recipe. I love this with apple butter on top instead of syrup but of course my kids love the syrup or strawberry jam."

  1. They were a bit too thick. Next time I'll add milk to make them thinner. I used only cinnamon (no nutmeg) but 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. Great taste. They were very good with maple syrup. Thanks Melissa :) Made for Photo tag game
  2. I don't know if my bananas were not ripe enough but they were very bland and not very sweet so I tried adding some brown sugar it did help. I might try them again once I have more ripe bananas, my kids love them though.
  3. WOW!!! A terrific breakfast for all of us, I doubled the recipe, for 4 of us. LOVED the banana flavor with the oats here too. So simple to make too. Made for 1-2-3 hit wonders.
  4. Hokies, these pancakes are Delicious! I think the key here is to not "over-think" the process of making them! :) instead of mashing the bananas too much I basically broke them up with my fingers. The flavors blend together just great!!! I loved the flavors of oats and very, very ripe bananas! Yummy! I will make these again when I need to use up my bananas! Thanks HL! Great recipe! Made for 1.2.3 Hits
  5. These were really nice. I did the micture the night before to let the oats soften a little. The mixture was a bit thick & heavy the next morning so I added some more milk to thin it out a bit. My "girls" have been a little slack so I had to use egg substitute but it worked well. Little Miss DD & I enjoyed these with jam for a lovely filling brekky. Thanks!
