Simple Slow Cooker Picante Chicken

ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 green bell pepper, seeded, and cut into rings
- 1 (16 ounce) jar picante sauce
- 1⁄2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
directions
- Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker, with the bell pepper rings over top of the chichen.
- Combine picante, brown sugar, and mustard, and spoon over top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook for 4 1/2 hours.

Very tasty and easy recipe! I cut it in half and it worked great. My green pepper was cut in half rings. I used a hot picante sauce for the extra spice. There really is not a need to add any other ingredients. I only wish I would have served this over a bed of rice to soak up all the delicious juices. Make sure you do that. Thanks for posting. Made for PAC Fall 2008.
