Simple Chocolate Mug Cake

"Simple cake made in a coffee cup in the microwave in 5 minutes"

ingredients

• 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 4 tablespoons sugar
• 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 large egg
• 3 tablespoons 2% low-fat milk
• 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1⁄4 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 12 pieces unsweetened chocolate chips

directions

1. Chocolate chips are optional.
2. instead of oil you can use unsalted butter.
3. add dry ingredients to mug, mix well.
4. add egg, mix well.
5. pour in the milk and vegetable oil, mix well.
6. add vanilla extract and chips, if using, mix well.
7. put mug in microwave and cook at 1000 watts for 3 minutes.
8. cake will rise over top of mug but should be ok.
9. let cool and enjoy.
