  • mix all ingredients well. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for one hour.

  1. I used fresh broccoli that I steamed lightly and chopped. I added a bit of onions for more flavor. I added 1 beaten egg, because as I mixed this, I thought it may be a bit watery..... plus it IS a souffle and souffles contain egg. I'm glad that I added that egg. It held everything together just right and it was still moist, light and cheesey (not custardy or "eggy" at all). I'd certainly consider this for one of my holiday meals. Thanx for sharing a family favorite of yours!
