Simple Beef Tips and Gravy

  • 2 lbs beef sirloin tip
  • 1 (10 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (2 ounce) envelope brown gravy mix
  • salt and pepper

directions

  • In medium saucepan boil tips till done.
  • Drain tips, Reserving 2 cups of broth.
  • In Medium saucepan or Crockpot, add your soups and brown gravy mix, mix well.
  • Add in broth until gravy is as thick as you like, it will thicken slightly.
  • Add your tips, simmer for at least 25 minute or as long as you wish,(stirring occasionally) if using a crockpot set it on low and simmer all day, great both ways!
  • Serve over rice, noodles, potatoes, your choice!

  4. This is so easy to make. We used to have to hunt our spice rack just to be sure to have everything on hand before we could make beef tips with gravy. Now, just 4 simple ingredients, and viola! Delicious too! This will be my second time fixing it, and will continue to fix it this way. Thanks for the recipe!

We are now a family of nine, our newest edition, Emma Lauran was born December 2, 2005. We have so many hobbies it's hard to list them all. The boys enjoy Karate, and sports, football, mostley. The girls are in dance and gymnastics. My husband and I enjoy music, movies and travel, we have a mediterranean cruise planned for our 2nd anniversary in November. I ma going back to nursing school in the fall of next year...NICU nursing is where I hope to end up.My dh is a veteran. He has been overseas three times, his last tour was in Iraq for desert storm, We are all very proud of him, he became disabled after he returned from Iraq, he is a very strong person. We live a very hectic life, and enjoy dinner time, only time we all sit down together usually.
