Shrimp Mold (New Orleans style)

"My Grandmother's recipe - the best I have had. This is not spicy. ONE NOTE: I never have luck removing things from molds so I always use a decorative serving mold, never messy. Serve with gourmet crackers. You should use seasoned boiled shrimp to add to the flavor. Watch it dissapear! Yummy!"

  1. Hi, Question: When do you add the shrimp? Also, so you use the soup with or without a can of water added to it. Thanks!

  1. Very good and great eye appeal, after it finally got made. My 15 year old granddaughter had to make some kind of a molded dish for Home Ec. Soooooo after days and days of deliberation she picked this dish. she assured me she had things under control so I came home. Later that evening I went over for dinner and Shay showed me her master piece, and a baggie of chopped shrimp. The recipe didn't mention the adding of the shrimp so she didn't, she thought they went on top........LOL Thank God time there was time for a redo, the project was due the next day. She made me promise not to tell anyone aout her slight mistake. So if anyone see's her don't mention this or giggle. Think I'll take this to family functions for a while and just smile and wink at my baby girl.
