- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1⁄2 lb snow pea pods (2 cups)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 medium red bell peppers or 1 medium yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips
directions
- In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Add pea pods and sesame seed; cook about 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until pea pods are crisp-tender.
- Stir in bell pepper. Cook about 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until bell pepper is crisp-tender.

This was super easy. In truth, I didn't eat it by itself becus i happened to have some leftover vegetable-quinoa pilaf that was very bland, so i cooked up the snow peas, threw in some frozen shrimp and then served that over the quinoa pilaf.<br/><br/>You shouldn't add the sesame seeds til the very end of cooking. You just want to toast them to bring out the flavor, not cook them. If you still have trouble with popping sesame seeds, put a lid on it.Reply
