Scrumptious London Fog

Scrumptious London Fog created by Julie Bs Hive

this is creamy and yummy, it's almost impossible to stop at one!!

ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (or just over depending on the size of cup you choose)
  • one bag earl grey tea
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

directions

  • bring the milk to a boil on the stove, careful not to burn it. (If you're short on time or looking for a quicker more convenient alternative to the stove, you can always use the microwave, but be careful not to blow it up. try 1 minute intervals and stir in between each to avoid heat pockets.).
  • remove the milk from the stove and pour into glass or mug whichever you prefer and add the tea bag. let steep for 3-6 minutes depending how strong you like it. (I recommend somewhere in the middle!).
  • stir in the nutmeg (optional, but it ads some extra yummy flavour!) and sprinkle the cinnamon on top. voila!

Ok, but I couldn't really taste the tea flavor...

Warm creamy drink for a cold night. Will try with vanilla soy milk, too. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

I brewed for 6 minutes and still found it a bit weak. Good though.

Wow, this is deceptively good. I love the flavor the cinnamon and nutmeg (freshly ground) added to it. I also added a packet of splenda to it. It is comforting a soothing without being too strong.
